MK Dons cut the gap on leaders Lincoln with a comprehensive 6-0 win at home to Cambridge.

The hosts, who had not won any of their last three matches, were 3-0 up inside 12 minutes as Rhys Healey, Kieran Agard and Chuks Aneke found the target.

Healey struck again just after the hour mark, Agard grabbed his second from the spot and Osman Sow netted to seal the rout.

Lincoln looked set to maintain their six-point lead at the top of League Two but Manny Oyeleke's added-time strike for Port Vale meant it finished 1-1 after Shay McCartan's 58th-minute had goal given the Imps the lead.

In the early kick-off in League Two, Neal Bishop grabbed the winner for Mansfield against a Grimsby side that had won their previous four matches.

Bishop's first-half header extended David Flitcroft's sides unbeaten league run to 17 matches.

Bury came from behind to beat Crewe 3-1. Caolan Lavery cancelled out Chris Porter's early goal and Jay O'Shea scored twice after the break to give the Shakers a win which lifts them up to fourth.

Forest Green made it five games without defeat with a 2-1 win over Northampton. The hosts struck in just the second minute as George Williams fired in from six yards out. Sam Foley equalised for the visitors but Theo Archibald grabbed an added-time winner for Rovers.

The pressure intensified on under-fire Yeovil manager Darren Way as his side were beaten 4-1 at home by Cheltenham and are now winless in nine matches.

Luke Varney notched midway through the first half before Conor Thomas' penalty doubled the lead before the break. Tom James' free-kick pulled one back for the Glovers just after half-time but Jordon Forster sealed it for Cheltenham and Kevin Dawson grabbed a fourth late on.

Notts County remain rooted to the foot of the table after defeat at Oldham. Tom Haymer and Peter Clarke scored either side of half-time to give the hosts a second win from two matches under the caretaker charge of Pete Wild.

Jamie Devitt's strike and a fine finish from Jack Sowerby gave Carlisle a fifth straight league win with a 2-0 victory at Morecambe.

Macclesfield and Tranmere drew 1-1, Connor Jennings put the visitors ahead but Koby Arthur equalised for Sol Campbell's side just before the break.

Alex Revell scored five minutes from time to give Stevenage, who had Kurtis Guthrie sent off after 38 minutes, a 1-0 win over Newport.

Crawley also won with 10 men, Luke Gambin's double securing a 2-0 win against Colchester despite Joe McNerney's earlier dismissal. Colchester's Frankie Kent also saw red a minute from time.

And, Jonathan Forte and Archie Collins helped Exeter to a 2-0 win at Swindon.
